Château Clément, Bordeaux

Château Clément, Bordeaux

From one of the highest vineyard sites in Bordeaux at 110m, Château Clément is rooted in classic clay-limestone soils, bringing both structure and freshness to the finished wine. The vines, with an average age of 35 years, provide depth and natural concentration while maintaining balance.

The blend is led by 60% Merlot, complemented by equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec (10% each), resulting in a layered and expressive profile. Ageing for 22 months in concrete vats preserves purity of fruit while allowing gentle micro-oxygenation. The style is generous yet refined, offering ripe dark fruits—plum and blackberry—alongside supple tannins, a fresh lift from the elevated site, and subtle mineral nuances. A modern Bordeaux with both immediate appeal and underlying complexity.
