Champagne Bonnet-Gilmert, Oger

Champagne Bonnet Gilmert is based in the Grand Cru village of Oger, in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, just south of Avize. The family has been tending their vineyards for five generations, and today the estate is run by the charming Aude Vauban and her cousin Carla Bonnet. The domaine spans seven hectares, exclusively planted with Chardonnay, with Grand Cru plots located in Oger, Avize, and Mesnil-sur-Oger. They blend wines from all three villages in each of their cuvées, adding depth and complexity.

Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, and the wines are aged for a minimum of 30 months in the cellar before dégorgement. These are tight, mineral-driven wines that impress and deliver immense pleasure.
