Azienda Agricola Cerbaia, Montalcino

Cerbaia is a small boutique winery created by agronomist Fabio Pellegrini in 1978, who converted his family farm into vineyards. The total estate stretches to twelve hectares and there are almost five hectares under vine within that, on the slopes of the Montosoli hill. There are also three hundred olive trees and three hectares of woodland at the property. In 2014, Fabio’s daughter Elena gave up her career in corporate finance to focus entirely on the family business. The ambition at Cerbaia is to craft elegant, balanced wines of a classical, traditional style. Just 18,000 bottles in total are produced each year.
