Halo Wines Launch New Portfolio of Producers

We are delighted to launch our new portfolio of producers at Halo Wines. Our initial offering has been carefully selected after many miles on the road and has a strong bias towards our favourite regions. The list will continue to evolve and develop.

We have all felt the pressure of rising prices and lack of supply from Burgundy, driven by insatiable demand and repeated small harvests. Rising temperatures in recent years have allowed more northern locations in Burgundy to produce consistently ripe, balanced and affordable Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which are delicious and deserve a wider audience. We have carefully selected some of the finest producers from these emerging villages to bring back the simple enjoyment and drinkability from this special region.

Champagne remains one of the most dynamic and changing areas in France with huge innovation from both the growers and Grande Marques alike. Our two producers are very Burgundian in outlook and they offer benchmark Côte des Blancs, Grand Cru and Côte des Bar, Blanc de Noirs respectively at remarkable value.

It is a great privilege to represent the extraordinary, unique wines of Niepoort. We look forward to maintaining strong trading relationships with all those who love their amazing wines. Their range of port and table wines are incredibly broad and diverse, showcasing the relentless energy and innovation that Niepoort represents. We are also fortunate to have access to some rare parcels of older stock for those looking for a treasure to go on their list.

Finally, Settlement is a one of the most interesting projects to come out of Marlborough in recent years, focusing on organic, single vineyard wines. It has been masterminded by Steve Planthaber (ex Cloudy Bay) and Kirsty Sutherland (of Dog Point family).

We look forward to sharing our wider list and developing strong trading relationships with you during the important autumn season.
